John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

The proprietor of a dry-cleaning and dyeing business hung this quaint sign in his shop window:

"We die to live,
we live to dye;
the more we dye,
the more we live;
and the more we live,
the more we dye."

For the child of God, it is also true that the more he dies, the more he lives! Only by dying to self can you know the joy of being a fruit-bearing Christian!

Integrity

We must acknowledge that integrity is an essential virtue, and hypocrisy is a horrible vice.

Integrity is the essential biblical qualification for all – especially those serving in Christ's Church. In every list of qualification for anyone spoken about in the New Testament, one requirement heads the list: The man who would fill any office of the church must be "above reproach."
